Blown away

AThere are times when we know,
When Life progresses really slow,
That is the first day you met her,
Which you can always now refer,

You stood alone there hypnotized,
The heart seemed light and sliced,
Mesmerized you felt, more lighter,
You felt like a poet and big writer,

You felt the whole world watching,
Cool under the sun, yet scorching,
You never felt drenched in the rain,
You were hit by a car, still no pain,

When with her, the hours so short,
Without her, the ice-cream so hot,
You never realized you had a watch,
You gave it up, for her, rum, scotch,

Hiding the cigarette on her coming,
Every love song in mind, humming,
Felt always like a king of the world,
All appeared cheap, silver and gold,

That every penny of pocket money,
Saved for a gift, to give your honey,
The moon then so much beautiful,
You could fight even a fearsome bull,

All phone calls from friends missed,
Every touch, smile when she kissed,
Nothing to talk, but still all on phone,
Everything was brittle, even a bone,

Spending all time and money, well,
How much it was, you couldn’t tell,
Breaking every single rule in home,
Buying Hair Gel, soap, shaving foam,

The mirror now losing more mercury,
Combing hair twelve times, in a hurry,
Skipping breakfast, meals and dinner,
Wanted to be there first, a winner,

‘Good boy’, she says, pinching cheeks,
You felt it a heaven, above the peaks,
She rests on your shoulder, reclining,
Holding your hand tight, not declining,

Gone are the days now, it’s been long,
Nothing to write, no lines for a song,
She left you, and you never had a clue,
Why did it happen betwixt her and you?
