Paradise on Earth...

The wait was long, and the journey just began,
This is the paradise land, of islands before japan,
The honeymoon just sets in, and heart full of joy,
Did they ever bring her here, the Helen of troy?

The vastness of space and the zephyr all around,
The splendor of waves, nature’s parade ground,
Carved out of anger, clamor, passion and power,
What lies beneath, earth’s own meteor shower.

The west was earnest and the east nearly divine,
Partaking the sun’s rise and fall, in their very shrine,
No time to lose your mind, or just to rush around,
It’s a Shangri-La on earth, which someone found.

A new rainbow of sands; green, black, white and grey,
The Black Mustang convertible in hand, to drive all day,
A walk through the clouds and the milieu below,
A chain of waterfalls and lands not carved long ago !

The longer you ramble, there is more to become,
The gushing streams under your feet, crafting a thrum,
No camera can match the view, of your very own eye,
So shut it down, and relish that sight from your lanai.

Walking on the land, that once sailed hot and wide,
Entombing below it, some of bad men’s land and pride,
A new land, once feared, but now a continental slope,
A new green grass and flower, expelling a ray of hope.

Surely not a life, that you would want to relish alone,
Have the one by your side, a love, in the tropical zone,
You would never feel alone, with them on your side,
Your dear one and the Nature, one  perfect life, beside.

A small island next to the big one, Maui is its name,
Buildings, roads and noisy people, embarrassing its fame,
But if you prefer serenity and love, just for the two,
Go along the east coast, or just simply stay by the blue.

The room on the beach, and the waves splashing tall,
A lovely overview of the ocean, of sands weaving a shawl,
That you can use to snuggle, and watch the sun sink fast,
Go down the glistening ocean, flattering a tick of the past.

But wait! It is not all done yet; stalk a few more seconds,
Now is the time, you stare into space, and the sky beckons,
A magnificent golden sky, adorning a blue blanket so bright,
That’s an addendum note from day, for the night sky’s invite!

Blue turns violet, violet turns pretty, a dauntless starry sky,
A perfect time for love to bloom, dinner served with a spry,
The welcoming stars, the distant lights and sound of conch,
The end marks the beginning, the beginning just so staunch.

Hours into minutes turn to seconds faster, as the days pass by,
With sandals in hand, along the shores of waves, you walk by,
All you carry are memories, all you leave are footprints on sand,
There is nothing more to take back, expect your love,
That is holding your heart and clasping your left hand!
